How do the NPEx Prep Exams work?

The NPEx prep exams are independent digital mock tests designed to provide a structured simulation experience based on the National Psychology Exam curriculum. Each exam includes 150 multiple-choice questions with a 3h30mim time limit. A built-in countdown timer supports time management, pacing, and decision-making under exam conditions.

When and how should I take my NPEx Prep Exams?

You can complete your prep exams at any time within your 365-day access period from the date of purchase. You only need a quiet environment and a computer with a reliable internet connection. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer instead of a mobile phone. You are encouraged to complete each exam in one sitting to simulate real exam conditions. However, you may pause, save, and resume your exam within your access period if required.

How many times can I take each Prep Exam?

Each NPEx Prep Exam can be attempted once only. You will continue to have access to review all exam content, including questions, answers, and explanations, for the full duration of your 365-day access period.

Will I receive a score and feedback report?

Yes. After completing each Prep Exam, you will receive an automated performance report, including:

Final result (pass/fail), total score, and completion time
Breakdown by domains and competency areas
Full review of all questions, including correct and incorrect responses
Detailed explanations for each question

These reports are designed for educational purposes only and to support your learning and exam preparation.

How are NPEx scores calculated?

Your total score and categorised scores (by domains and competency areas) are automatically generated by the NPEx Portal. A scaled score benchmark of 70% or above is used as a reference for “pass”. The exam is automatically submitted when the 3h30min time limit expires. Any unanswered questions at the end of the exam are automatically marked as incorrect.

How does the NPEx Portal work?

NPEx is powered by FlexiQuiz, a secure third-party online assessment platform. After purchase, you will be redirected to the NPEx Portal (hosted by FlexiQuiz) to create your account and access your exams. Your access is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Your account is personal, individual, and non-transferable. Login credentials must not be shared. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably suspect misuse, account sharing, or breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law and a fair review process.

Can I upgrade my package?

Yes. If you would like to upgrade your NPEx package to access additional Prep Exams, please contact us. We may offer promotional discounts or upgrade pricing at our discretion. Email: npex@mail.com

Can I copy or share NPEx content?

No. NPEx content is provided for personal, individual use only and is non-transferable. All materials, including questions, answers, explanations, scoring systems, and reports, are protected under Australian and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution, sharing, or commercial use of NPEx content is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension of access and legal action where appropriate, including injunctive relief.

Where is my data stored?

All data and results are securely stored within the NPEx Portal (FlexiQuiz system). We may collect and use data such as your name and email and exam performance and score. This information is used to operate the platform, improve content quality, and enhance user experience.

Your personal information is used only for NPEx-related communication, including updates, study resources, promotions, and offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us. Email: npex@mail.com

Can I get a refund for NPEx Prep Exams?

Yes. We offer a 2-day change-of-mind refund period from the date and time of purchase, provided the product has not been substantially accessed or used. Once a prep exam has been accessed or started, the digital content is considered delivered and refunds may be restricted or not available, except where required under Australian Consumer Law (for example, in the case of a major failure or non-conforming product). If you experience technical issues or believe there is a fault, please contact us immediately and we will assess your request.

Will I pass the real NPE if I use NPEx?

While NPEx can significantly improve familiarity with exam-style questions and support your preparation, we do not guarantee success in the official NPE. Your performance in the actual exam will depend on multiple factors including preparation, knowledge, and exam-day conditions.

What NPEx is (and what it is not)

NPEx is an independent digital exam preparation and simulation platform designed to support candidates preparing for the National Psychology Exam. NPEx is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any official examination authority.

The NPEx prep exams are designed to help you build familiarity with exam-style questions and conditions, but they do not replicate or guarantee the exact format, content, or difficulty of the official NPE.

The platform is intended solely for educational simulation purposes. All exams, answers, scores, and explanations are indicative only and must not be considered formal psychological assessment, clinical advice, or educational advice.
